What museums to visit in Vancouver?

I will be visiting Vancouver for three weeks, starting next month. I have heard many good stories about the place and I am really looking forward to this vacation. I intend to do a lot of city exploration, but I also intend to go outside city limits. So, what museums and other attractions should I visit there?

There are really several great museums in Vancouver (some of them have spectacular views which is not that common for museums). But that is just the beginning. I mean, you should know that Vancouver is nested in a very beautiful, scenic environment and that is also something that must be explored and enjoyed. Just think of whale watching just outside the town!
