Hello there! I am going to New York City next month and want to stay there for a week. I want to escape Manhattan and its noisy streets. I am wondering about booking a hotel in Greenwich Village, also known as West Village. Can you recommend a hotel there? Thank you in advance!

I think The Washington Square Hotel in nice place to stay. It is located in the heart of Greenwich Village near Washington square Park. It is also near Little Italy, Soho and Tribeca. All rooms in hotel are smoke-free and every of them is equipped with hairdryer, cable TV, phone and iron with the ironing board.
