I am about to set book my first cruise ever and the thing is that I need to decide upon which cabin to book and the fact is that I dont have a clue to what would be the best opt regarding the cabins location. I am this worry for I have heard lately some stories about problems with rooms on board. I got a friend that was sick all the time and she couldnt even sleep for the almost constant noise and rumor there near the cabin so she havent managed to have a descent sleep there on board. So these problems with rooms on board-are they so frequent!

Your friend probably had a cabin on the lower deck for these cabins are very near to the engines and that is where the noise comes from so if you book the lower deck cabin you may count on constant noise problem in your room and plus you will have to make a lot of walk from here reaching the targeted on board destination for those lower deck cabins are situated most far away from anything on the ship-pool, dinning room and so on. If you are the one prone to sea sick ness than I advice you avoid booking the cabin on higher deck for that is where you will have the most beautiful location with the best ocean overview but it is also the site with the most ups and downs on board for the waves. So the best cabin opt is midship cabin they are very near the poor and the dinning room and are very comfortable and the only problem you might have with this room is related to the fact that they are located just along the passing by deck so that is where the passenger traffic is most frequent but you will eventually find the way to deal with this.
