Can you recommend Hotel in Bakersfield, CA?

Could I get some advice please? I have to be in Bakersfield, California in a few weeks' time and while I am guessing that there are not that many great hotels on offer, there must be something decent to find. Do you know the area and could you recommend me a decent hotel please? Thanks and regards.

The SpringHill Suites Bakersfield is a very pleasant hotel in my opinion. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are new and well, all round pleasant. As someone who needs the internet 24/7, I was grateful for the WiFi access as well. I would certainly come back if I were in the area again, and by the same token, I am quite happy to recommend it to you as well!
