Rent a car in Cancun

Am going with my family to Cancun. I think that the best thing to do there is to rent a car. I think that it will be cheaper and better then to use public transportation. But I don’t know how hard is to rent a car in Cancun. So, I need advice from you, more experienced people. I would really appreciate this info as soon as I can get.

That is really good idea. In my opinion, it is always better to rent a car, then to use public transportation. You have bigger freedom when you are with your car there ( rented or your own). If you have kids, than I am sure that it is the better idea. It is not hard to rent-a car in Cancun. Even more, it is easy and not very expensive. You can have car for 24 dollars per day. And that is not very high price. And the cars are really good. So, in my opinion, your idea is fantastic. Don’t worry about transportation. There is no need for that. Have nice trip, and enjoy yourself.
