| Of course not! There are various climate belts in Canada and winters do tend to be harsh, but it’s not like on North or South Pole. But still, in winter it tends to be pretty chilly there and temperatures may drop to -10C. That’s why I think that you’ll find the existence of so-called “Underground city” very interesting. This is actually a complex of, 32 kilometers long, underground tunnels, with malls, shops, museums, hotels, art galleries and metro stations. It just like a real city, where you can have a walk, stay at a hotel, buy yourself something and see an exhibiting. I really think that is fascinating and completely suitable if you happen to visit Montreal during a snow storm which would not offer pleasant weather conditions for taking a walk on the above. |
