One of my big wishes has always been to go to Crete one day, and spend some time there. I have always found it the most attractive place on Earth, but never got the chance to visit it. Not until now. If everything goes by the plan, I should spend 3 weeks in May there, and I would like to hear a few suggestions on what to see there in May.
To tell you the truth, in my opinion Crete is only about ruins, because that is pretty much all you get to see when it comes to attractions if you choose this part of Greece. And that is great if you find it interesting (it was not so in my case). But, on the other side, the nature is really beautiful on this island, but I guess that the only way to get the broader perspective of it is to rent a car and drive around.
