Can someone recommend restaurant at LA West side?

Can someone recommend me restaurant at LA west side? I want to see where celebrities and rich people live and eat and that’s why I’ll dedicate one day of my visit to Los Angeles to visiting posh areas of the city. I don’t doubt that the food is excellent there and that almost all restaurants are superb, but I still need you advice.

The food is excellent, but also very expensive there and since I don’t know anything about your budget I’ll recommend you a few places so that you can see yourself. I reckon that you don’t want any particular exotic cuisine so my first suggestion will be 208 Rodeo. This restaurant is conveniently situated on the Rodeo Drive and you can visit it after shopping. The cuisine is Californian and French and I’m sure that you’re going to like it. The service is great and I’m only a bit worried that it’s a bit too pricey. And here’s a restaurant with an interesting name: A Cow Jumped over the Moon. You can eat French cuisine there, and I don’t think that it’s as expensive as the 208 Rodeo.
