| Bangladesh became an independent country in 1971. In 1971 they won the political struggle with Indias help. Until than, it was a part of Pakistan. Bangladesh had no infrastructure till 1971. After that year, tourism started to growth. Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation was the firs tourist organization. Bangladesh is underdeveloped country with low budget. It is very hard to invest in tourism and hotels. Bangladesh is now full of villages and hamlets. Dhaka, the capital, and Chittagong are two larger cities. People from Bangladesh are very kind and relax, especially with tourists. Chittagong Hilltracts, until recently, was a restricted zone, and now it is a very popular tourists destination. Tribal indigenous cultures slowly disappear because of the influence of foreign people. |
