Got Meningitis on my cruise :(

I had my first cruise and I just got back from a ship and the thing is that I was cruising with my family my husband were there and 2 of our kids and one of my kids felt so badly after disembarkation and he was throwing during the second part of our last cruising day. Anyway he ended up in hospital-it was 2 night ago-and he was diagnosed with viral meningitis and I am so shocked with this situation and am curios could it be he got meningitis on this cruise : (. And I am also afraid now for my younger kids could he also now gets meningitis.

Well it is more likely your son has earned somehow meningitis while onboard and your younger kid has pretty enough chances to get it either so make sure to control his condition constantly. And though it is very rare it sometimes happens to get meningitis on those cruises-you know sometimes it is too hot and the kids touches everything so their hands are dirtybut I dont think you should worry that much for it is about viral meningitis which is much less dangerous opt than bacterial one.
