Hola, muchachos. I am going to Spain next week. I will go there with some of my friends. We will be situated in Granada, but we would like to move around. We have heard about day trips from Granada that we can take. We were wondering what kind of trips there are and what kind of experiences you bring from them? Thanks.

Hi, there. Granada has many daily side trips and it is great idea you want to explore the area. First, I recommend you to visit Sierra Nevada. There you can find ski resorts, although I am not sure whether you will find some snow. You can take a bus or a train to visit Antequera. There you can see some stone facilities that will remind you pretty much on Stonehenge. Near town you can see Fuente de Piedra - a flamingo lake, the Arcos de los Gigantes and Lovers Rock. Among day trips there is one to Cordoba. There you can see the biggest mosque in Spain, Arabic bath, botanical garden and the Jewish Quarter. I also suggest you to visit Alpujarras where is the prettiest countryside in all over Spain. There are several villages that you should check out. Good luck!
