| My friends and I have been there last year. We had such a good time. It is famous for its scenery of deep blue mountain lakes, volcanoes, forests, famous resorts, sports, not to mention handicrafts, traditional folklore and legends. There are twelve major lakes in the district. Between them there are waterfalls, forests, rivers and thermal hot springs. An overall nice climate makes it an all-season destination. You can expect heavier rain during May to October. Don’t be surprised if flooding alters some of your travel plans. Although spring and summer from November to April are generally drier you can also expect rain any time. Since there is so much water all around you will not be surprised that Chilean seafood is absolutely exquisite. You just have to try local specialties. You will not be disappointed. |
