| You’re in for a big treat! If you like jazz, then this city is just perfect for you since it’s the cradle of jazz music and the city here numerous authentic jazz clubs exist. As for the food, French and Afro-American influences mixed and created a wonderful array of great specialties. When you visit French quarter, don’t even think of missing the opportunity to eat in The Original Pierre Maspero’s Restaurant. As you can judge from the name, the cuisine is French. It serves all three meals during the day and you can drop by and have a good breakfast there. What’s also important is the fact that it’s inexpensive. I remember that I’ve heard something about Po’boy sandwich, a traditional sandwich from New Orleans. I suggest that you try it. |
