Carnival Cruising Pros and Cons

I am considering having a cruising trip this summer and somehow I decided it to be with Carnival cruise line and since this would be my first cruise I am not familiar what I might expect there. I will be having Western Caribbean cruise with Inspiration probably and am now curious to hear some Carnival cruising pros and cons. Thanks!

I had about the same cruising tour with Inspiration for I always wanted to visit Jamaica but to be honest I was pretty disappointed with Montego Bay and with local people. Anyway there are lot of pros and cons regarding Carnival cruising though I would say the pros are at much higher rate. Anyway what I disliked the most is that embarkation and disembarkation I mean it is awful and so bad organized it took me more than 3 hours to get on board and afterwards to get out of the ship another 3 and more hours. And I was not delighted with meals though I cant say it was without taste but the portions were too small-I was hungry during whole cruise. But yet again the staff was great as well as the table and room service. Anyway I am planning on having Eastern Caribbean cruising this year with Carnival also for I have heard this opt is much better.
