I would be visiting east Bolivia with my two friends –we are hitting there the next month. The thing is actually that we would be backpacking but it is not like we would just stay at eastern Bolivia sites for we are planning actually going to Brazil passing Brazilian Bolivian crossings and I would like to hear any info regarding way this border is to be passed. Thanks!
Well I dislike saying this but I am not that thrilled with your plans especially regarding Brazilian Bolivian crossings. The thing is that two of my colleagues were rubbed off last summer in some Bolivian border town I think it is called Villazon and though in general people there are friendly it happens that tourist went robbed especially on the crossings. Anyway they had great time there visiting Bolivia including its eastern part and finally they reached Brazil by the train but without any money almost and documents so I suggest you keep on with trip by using some guide or something like that at least until you pass this Brazilian Bolivian crossings.
