I will land in Zanzibar within 2 days and would appreciate some general details on driving with taxis in Zanzibar. I will not have direct flight for I will be landed first in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania and after few hours I will have a direct flight to Zanzibar and would also like having some taxi drive from the airport. So can you tell me something about taxis in Zanzibar for I will be landing there late at night and am concerned weather I would find descent taxis at this time?

Sure you would find many taxis in Zanzibar involving also Zanzibar airport which is always full of taxi drivers waiting for the passengers. Anyway taxis drivers are so much gentle and kind and I never had no problem with them in sense like they would charge you some extra money and besides all it is not that expensive getting around with Taxis in Zanzibar.
