| Hello! I and my girlfriend are supposed to visit Paris next months, and travel a bit across country. I was wandering if you could provide me with any information regarding prices in Parisian youth hostels, as well those in the country. We want to visit Provance i.e. Avignon and Cannes but we are on tight budget. We were also thinking about Nice, but we are not sure if we can afford. Thanks |

| Hi! Well, you have lots of websites that could offer precise info to you; however, since I came back from France recently I will reply to your question. Paris has numerous hostels to offer, and of course that prices vary and depend on location. Anyway, you can find place in decent and clean hostels in Paris that are centrally located for as low as 25 euros which is approximately 35$ per night per person. But these are dorms. If you want a private room, the price goes higher. I would suggest you centrally located hostel, because even if it costs a bit more, you will save your funds for transportation and precious time for visiting all of the cities attractions. Considering your second question I cannot help except to suggest browsing some booking sites dedicated to budget travel. |
