Is there a bus from split to dubrovnik?

I’m going to go to Split for a research trip and I saw on the map that the city of Dubrovnik is not very far. So, if I have time, I would like to visit also Dubrovnik. Does anybody know is there a bus from Split to Dubrovnik, preferably a direct one?

Maybe I am wrong if I say that all the year there is a bus line from Split to Dubrovnik, I travelled from Dubrovnik to Split this July and somebody told me that the bus I took goes only in summer since there are many tourists asking for that destination. But, in my opinion the should be a bus all year long from Split to Dubrovnik, those are the two of the biggest towns on Dalmatian coast and both are the major targets of tourists from all over the world.

Is there a bus from split to dubrovnik?
