| Too bad that you have only two hours. Even two days would be too short for Dubai. Surrounded by deserts, sand dunes and the Hajar Mountains, it is almost like a modern city that comes from a 1001 Night fantasy. Traditional meets modern in a best possible way. Beach resorts, high tech buildings stand side by side with old traditional houses and mosques. Dubai is divided by the Creek, basically an inlet from the gulf that splits the commercial centre in two. If you cannot make up your mind, I would suggest going and seeing the Burj Dubai. It is a fascinating building and one of the building marvels of the modern world definitely worth seeing. |
