I am looking for a peaceful place to stay at this summer and I love the ocean. Anyway I planned on going to South Africa this summer and am having a hard time what to choose- Lamberts Bay or Elands Bay. I never visited these places but I have heard that those ones are one of the best places to visit in South Africa coast. So I just need someone to help me where to go –Lamberts Bay or Elands Bay.

I was once on Elands Bay and I think you will be just fascinated-no crowd and the beaches for kilometers long and most important –there is no crowd and I pretty much felt like I was alone there-with my husband and 2 of our friends. In general Elands Bay is such interesting place you may sailing there as well as rowing or surfing I loved climbing rocks there and the birds there are just fantastic. We hired a car cuz we planned on going around for the Cape Town is only 200km away and tough we were supposed going more to the north just to visit lamberts Bay –which is a small fishing village and we heard it is a beautiful place to stay also-but anyway we haven't managed to reach Lamberts Bay this year at least and I hope I would be visiting it some other time. Anyway if you are desperate for some tranquil and relaxant place I bet that Elands Bay would be the right place for you.
