Hello. I’m preparing for my first trip to Canada this winter. And since I’m passionate skier I just can’t wait those months to come. I’ve heard that Windy lake Lodge and Kwagama lake Lodge are hard to access, but worth all the trouble. Can you tell me more about the cross-country ski areas? Thanks.

Well, you’re coming to right place. You couldn’t choose a better one for cross country skiing. Just Ontario has over 100 ski areas. There is very good web site with all the informations you need: canadatrails.ca/xc_ski/xc_on.html. Hope it’ll help, it has many cross county routes with maps included.
