Hello. I’m coming from Asia to Canada this winter. And my trip is planned right in the middle of Christmas season. Can you tell me more about how Christmas is celebrated in Canada? Are there some things specific just for Canadians, but not for the rest Christian world? Thanks a lot for your kind answers.

Hi. These days I think, Christmas has a little with Christian world, it’s more like family holyday, when families are gathered in their homes. There is pine tree with decorations and lot of presents under it. And of course the special Christmas Eve dinner and special Christmas day lunch. The end of Christmas period, on 6.th January is called “The feast of the king”.
