| Howdy, folks. I am planning a short trip to Asia and I have some things I would like to know. For instance, what kind of immunization should I take care of before my trip? Can you tell me something if you are familiar with this? It would mean a lot to me. Thanks a lot, guys. |

| Uh, you shouldve told me which country you are about to visit. It isnt the same for each country. But never mind, Ill try to summarize it. For example, if you go to China, no extra immunization is necessary, except you come from a yellow fever area. If you go to countryside, it is recommended to bring immune globulins to fight the hepatitis A. I also recommend you to bring with you different kind of antibiotics. When my friend went to Vietnam, she got malaria shots and protection against hepatitis A and B and typhoid immunization. Tetanus protection is also a smart choice and some people have meningococcal prevent. Some take measles, mumps and rubella vaccines. Avoid raw vegetable and tapped water. Good luck! |
