Is Estremadura safe enough for tourists from USA?

Can somebody tell me Is Estremadura safe enough for tourists from USA? I am thinking about going there for my vacation. But I don’t know if that is a smart idea. I heard that there is some safety problem there. But I didn’t confirm anything. That is why I need some sure information. Thank you in advance for every help that you would be so nice give me.

I think that it is safe enough for tourists. And when I say tourists I think all sorts of tourists. I don’t see why you USA citizens are so paranoid. You always think that some places are dangerous for you. I was in Estremadura last year, and I didn’t notice anything dangerous there. Maybe I don’t have good perception. But I had really great time there. And the people there were very nice and friendly. If you want to go there, I definitely think that you should. It would be shame if you have opportunity not to use it. At least that is the way that I am thinking.
