I’m a great nature lover and I think that Sri Lanka is a great place for somebody who wants to enjoy the scenic beauty and see some species he has never seen before. This country is full of rainforests and I’d like to know if there are some endemic trees there. If somebody knows a bit more about the nature it would be great to share your knowledge with us.

Sri Lanka is the right choice for everybody who wants to have a natural adventure because this island is brimming with both plant and animal species which are endemic. I’m not an expert on biology and botany but I know that Sinharaja is a tree which is endemic to Sri Lanka. I suggest you to go and stay at one of those ecotourism lodges and there you will have the opportunity to be close to the rainforest. Those resorts have various tours organized and with a professional guide you can go and observe both the plants and the wildlife of the jungles of Sri Lanka. For example you can go to Yala National Park or to Galapita Eco Lodge.
