Costs for hotels in Bangladesh

Im thinking about spending my vacation in Bangladesh, but I dont know prices for hotel rooms. Im still having second thoughts about going there, because if prices of the accommodation are similar or even a bit expensive in Thailand, Id rather go there, probably because of the fact that there are more commercials that promote it.

Well, as always, cost of a hotel room depends on the hotel itself and pleasures it can offer and in every single spot under the sun you can find excellent five-star resorts, average hotels and miserable slums. So, I believe that the same goes for Bangladesh and prices vary from very low to unaffordable for an average, middle-class traveler. The bottom line is that everybody can find accommodation depending on his/hers financial status.
