What do you have to see in Lithuania?

My wife wants to see the new countries in the Northern Europe. Therefore we are going to see Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. We are going to Estonia and Latvia first and then we will spend most of our time in Lithuania. What do you have to see in Lithuania? I heard that there are some really nice things.

Lithuania was once a part of a great empire that covered the territory from the Black Sea to the Baltic Sea. Most of its cultural makeup stems from the central Europe. You can find a Baroque Old Town in Vilnius (the capital of Lithuania). It is the largest in East Europe and many people call it “New Prague”. I suggest you see, among other things, Hill of Crosses, National Museum and Trakai Island Castle & History Museum.
