Getting from New York to Fire Island by car I think that it would be most appropriate thing to do. I like renting car when I am in some place that I have never been before. I don’t like using public transportation. Many times there isn’t public transportation. That is why I want to rent a car and not to think a lot about this thing.

I think that it is excellent idea. I love getting to know some place by car. I see some freedom in that way of journey. If you are going with your own car you can stay wherever you want and wherever you like. That is the thing tat I like the most> When you use some other way of transportation you cannot stop wherever or whenever you want. These two places are only 45 min away, so you will not have problems getting from one spot to another. So you have my approval for car trip from New York to Fire Island. But wait, maybe other people have something useful to say.
