Hi. I would love to take my girlfriend to Paris next week as a lovely and romantic surprise! Is this a bit too much last minute, or is it doable? I think I have a pretty good idea of where to take her although some restaurant suggestions would also be welcome. We are living in London so please keep this in mind when giving suggestions. Thanks.

Next week? That is not last minute at all? I have travelled the world, and many a time I have just turned up at the airport and bought tickets there. I am easy. I dont mind waiting around a bit, and rushing to catch a plane that leaves in 20 minutes is just so thrilling. The Eurostar might be a good way of getting there too, though, and it is also cheaper than flying.
