My husband has just told me that we’ll have to move to Bogota, Columbia because of his work. His company is always sending him to supervise the work in some undeveloped countries and I’m sick of it. But since I have no other option I will have to accompany him which means that we will be living in Bogota for six months. I’ll have to learn Spanish and I need some courses there. Do you know of some language school?

I understand that you are not satisfied with the idea of moving around so often, but look it on the bright side – you are quite a globetrotter. Not many people have the opportunity to travel and see various different countries and meet new people. Colombia is not that bad at all. Quite the opposite, it is great country with a ‘drug problem’ and poverty. Everything else would be just perfect there. Anyway, Bogota is a big city and there are numerous language schools there. As I know, Spanish is not that complicated. Escuela de Español Nueva Lengua is a decent school and it is not too expensive. I just know that you should avoid PEPE school of language. A friend has told me that it doesn’t offer quality lessons.
