Visiting Machu Pichu in August possible?

Hi everyone. Can I get some help? August is the only time this year during which both my boyfriend and myself are able to get time off for a vacation. We'd love to go to Peru, and seeing Machu Pichu will be an important part of the trip. Is it possible to see it in August?

Yes, you can see the site all year round, and can get guided tours there. Mind you, Machu Pichu is bound to get quite hot in August, and in order to make the experience as pleasant as possible you should definitely take lots of water with you, and make sure you dress appropriately.
