How do you get free ship board credits?

Is it true that there are some chances on getting some free ship board credits? I mean if it is true I would be so happy to get one for it is great having a chance to get on board for free and have some cruise ships-I know it involves paying for the meals and beverages but free cruising that is great! So please help me on this how do you get free ship board credits?

There are lots of ways you may get those free ship board credits for example if you are a Frequent Flyer Programs member with specific airlines and stay informed with Large Agencies and Consortia Groups for they offers often those shipboard credits also it may happened you get some e-mail offering you to sign up for those free ship board credits. Anyway there are quite chances on getting free ship board credit and nowdays one of the most frequent ways on getting some free ship board credits related to some luxury cruise lines are over book & deposit rewards.
