I’m going to Gaziantep province with my family but my wife and I have a six-month old baby. That’s why I prefer some hotel (and the resort, of course) near the airport. You know, we’re traveling from Europe and the flight lasts for a few hours, so that’s pretty much for our baby. We’d like to avoid the additional transfer to the resort. Is there an airport in the city of Gaziantep?
I traveled to Turkey last summer with a seven-month old baby and I was so furious with the agency! I also searched for the hotel near the airport (I was going to Antalya and paid for a four-star hotel near the airport). They gave me a hotel that was literally on the runway, so hundreds of airplanes make such an awful noise that our baby couldn’t sleep at all. They flew by day as well as by night. As for Gaziantep, it has a pretty large airport and I suggest you to choose this city as your destination because it’s nice. However, check the hotel you are staying at before booking it. Don’t rely on everything the travel agent says.
