Travel from Venice to Zurich?

I have to go to the Zurich, because my business. Before that I have couple of days free. So I am thinking before I go to Zurich to make the pit stop in Venice. I always wanted to go there. I heard so much about this city on the water. I also heard that it is sinking every year for couple inches, so I wont to go before disappears. Can someone suggest me how to travel from Venice to Zurich?

You are absolutely right. Venice is place you mustnt miss. It is unique and exquisite And you must visit church of Santa Maria della Salute. Traveling from Venice to Zurich? How would you like to travel? Or it is better not to ask you that question. I suppose that you would like to travel with a plane. But there is not direct connection Venice to Zurich. That is not very nice, I know. And, you will say that complicates your journey. You have direct railway connection. Maybe it is slower than airplane, bur traveling with train is also interesting. Specially in foreign country train has its beauty.
