First time visitor to Africa seek for advice

Hello, there. I am planning a trip to Africa next week. It will be my first time to visit that continent. In fact, it will be the first time I will leave Europe. Are there any advices you should give me as to a first time visitor to Africa? I would like to hear some of your suggestions.

Hello, there. Africa is great. Ive been there several times and I must admit it has gone under my skin. You havent mentioned what country you are about to visit. I suggest you to make some inquiries about that country. You can watch some movie or buy a guidebook. Also, ask around what kind of vaccination you should take. Bring some repellents and mosquito net, electrical adapter. Prepare yourself for a different culture. People are more direct and the merchandisers can be pushy. For some countries you should bring tablets against malaria. I wish you great staying there!
