Selous or Ruaha in October

Howdy. I am planning a little trip to Tanzania in October. I imagined it to be something like safari. I still cant make up my mind whether to go to Selous or Ruaha National Park. It would be great to hear some impressions from people who visited both national parks. It would mean a lot to me. Thanks, guys!

Hello, there. Have you thought about combining both Selous and Ruaha? I was last year in the similar trip during my visit to Tanzania. Youve picked up a good month, since the best season to visit these parks is from June to October. My journey lasted about 8 days. Our itinerary included flights between camps. When you arrive from home, you will probably get to Dar es Salaam. From that point you will go first to Selous. We spent there 2 days and then flew to Ruaha. After several days there, we came back to Dar es Salaam and then went back home. Good luck!
