Anyone been to Jazz Fest 2006 in New Orleans?

Hi there. My crew and I are planning to visit Jazz Fest in New Orleans. Weve heard about Katrina and we would like to see how the town is recovering. Among other, we are jazz fans and like to listen to good music. If anyone attended earlier Jazz Fests in New Orleans, Id like to hear your impressions. Ive heard that it was great in 2006.

Hello. I attended Jazz Fest 2006 in New Orleans. It was special, because the town was hit by Katrina. Everybody sympathized with its population. I visited town before and after Katrina. I couldnt recognize the town. This festival made special the fact that Bruce Springsteen performed. He was obviously shocked with the state of the town. He also couldnt recognize it. Among his, he also sang some old songs like "When The Saints Go Marching In." The festival lasted two weekends and we spent great time there.
