San Diego is my next destination, I will have several meetings with possible business partners and I hope I will have at least one afternoon to enjoy there. I have been thinking on visiting Gaslamp district in San Diego any good hotel and restaurants there? I have heard that it is interesting part of the town. Is that true?

It could be one of the most interesting parts in Southern California. It is a dinning and shopping area, also specialized in entertainment. There, you can find an exquisite mixture of different food, cultures and fun possibilities in area with a lot of historical buildings made at the end of the 19th and the beginning of 20th century. There are many art galleries, boutiques, antique shops, even bazaars. And yes, there are old fashioned gaslamps that illuminate walkways and cafs. Just enjoy.
