| Well, Im going to the Turkmenistan next week. Im visiting ashgabat. I read about this beautiful town. It is full with interesting places, people, customs, at least, it is what I can see by looking the pictures of this city, and surfing the internet. But Im interested to hear people who went there, and experienced it. I will spend there only five days, so it would be easier if I know which places I mustnt pass. |

Hey. That is a very hard question, and I understand your problem. Five days is too little to get to know any city, especially so big and vivid. I spent there about month, and I can say freely that I didnt see the quarter of the town, and their cultural treasure. One of the meanings of Ashgabat is ,,city of love, and really, when you see it you will fall in love in this city. What can you visit? Well, that depends of your interest. I am the artist. From my point of view, this city is paradise for eyes of the artist or anyone who enjoys art in numerous different shapes . I strongly recommend visit to the Turkmen Fine Arts Museum, it is something you mustnt miss. On every step you can see beautiful mosques unique structure. One evening I ever went on the play in the Musical Drama Theater, unique. Oh, there are so many things you can see there, so beautiful buildings like: Ruhiyet Palace, Kukla (Puppet) Theater, Ak Bugday (White Wheat) Museum
I wanted to help, but it seams that I made your five days harder to plan.
