Heres my problem: Id like to visit Greece this summer, but I have a tremendous fear of flying. Once I had a panic attack on the plane and I had to take a tranquilizer in order to collect myself. I dont want to repeat the same mistake. Unfortunately I frequently have this motion sickness problem. Give me a hint on how to reach Greece.

First of all, you can kiss Greek islands goodbye, because the only way to reach them is either by plane or by ferry, and in both cases youd have a most unpleasant journey. The best way is either to look on the bright side of life and have a good old-fashioned train journey. Itll last much longer than a flight, but youll have the comfort of your sleeping compartment and motion sickness is not so frequent when traveling by train. The other option is to travel in your own car, because that way you can make stops along the way whenever you get nausea. Of course, you shouldnt be the one who drives the car.
