Italian cuisine is one of the finest and most respected in the world. Thats why I want to make the most of my Roman holiday and taste Italian food in good restaurants only. A cab driver told me that Da Fortunato is one of the best restaurants in Rome and that I should go there and taste their specialties. Do you also recommend it?
Hey there. During my last visit to Rome I dined at Da Fortunato once and I didnt like it. The pasta was completely undercooked and almost crunchy, the tomato sauce was scarce and the cheese was full of mould and had that dark green spots all over the surface! I wanted to see the chef and I complained him about that and instead of apologizing me and preparing me another portion of pasta to make up of my ruined appetite, he burst into laughter and couldnt collect himself for a long time. I was shocked and I paid my bill and left immediately. After that I had a delicious slice of pizza at Pizza Hut! Ive learned my lesson well and next time Ill eat only in Mc Donalds, no matter where I go!
