Like to learn more about Tanzania

This fall my parents are taking me to Tanzania and I dont know anything about that country apart from the fact that its in Africa. Im looking forward to seeing wild animals, jungles and deserts. I hope it will be an adventurous vacation, although my mother doesnt want us to go to safari because she thinks its not safe. What can I expect form this vacation?

Hi! You can expect a tremendous adventure because Tanzania is a great country. There you will see Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa then the Great Lakes of Lake Victoria. One of the most attractive geographical features is most certainly Serengeti savannah, where wildlife flourishes. Throughout its area several national parks are created, one of which is the famous Serengeti National Park. There is the longest wildlife migration in the world. But unfortunately, Im not sure whether kids are allowed to visit wildlife in national parks. If you stay there little longer, youll most probably have a trip to Zanzibar, which is an Island near Tanzania in the Indian Ocean, and have the unique opportunity to see Stone Town, an old part of Zanzibar City which is under UNESCO protection.
