A group of my friends is traveling through Italy and theyre in Turin at the moment. Im in Florence and Id like to go and meet them, because theyre going back to the States soon and Im staying in Italy for another six months. Traveling by plane would be the easiest option, but I doubt I can afford it. Can you tell me if how much a return ticket from Turin to Florence cost?
A train journey through Italy is a wonderful experience, especially when you pass through mountain ranges. Last year I traveled from the south of Italy to its north and make stops at several cities. It was one of my best journeys ever. But I must tell you that it wasnt as cheap as you may think. In your case Id consider traveling by plane, because you dont want to travel by train for pleasure but in order to save some money. There are low-budget flights for both national and international destinations, and I think that one-way flight from Florence to Turin cant be more than 100 euros, and if you purchase a return ticket its even cheaper.
