How much money for a week in Accra

Finally! My trip to Ghana, to be more precise Accra, starts next week. I have to pack my bags and off I go. I just need to know approximately how much money I need for a week in Accra. I don’t plan to spend a lot of money, but it is always nice to be able to enjoy in everything a country has to offer.

Well, bear in mind that you are going to Africa which a poverty stricken continent and many countries there barely have decent hotels and restaurants. Still, you can go to safari and to some luxurious locations. I really don’t know what you consider to be luxury and what the phrase ‘a lot of money’ means in your vocabulary, but I suppose that a thousand bucks will cover everything and you won’t have to refrain from anything. Maybe I’m exaggerating and maybe considerably less money will be enough, but if you want to be sure that you have enough money for everything that could possibly be of interest there, then this amount will make it possible.
