Hi! Since I moved from Austin to Chicago, I frequently take flights between the two to visit my family back home. I changed several airline companies in a need to save money. Recently, I saw that AA (American Airlines) offers a special for round trips. The offer includes the line I’m flying. Now, there’s a plenty of bonus miles given with this offer. These miles can be used to take another free flight (after the two round trips between specific destinations). I am interested if there is a way to sell these miles? Regards.
As far as I know, I never saw an option to get money from free miles as far as airline companies are concerned. These miles are usually used to get a discount on other flights and some also offer free meals, discount on hotels. From a friend I’ve heard of a company, I think the name was Award Traveler. He told me they actually buy off your bonus miles, so you may want to check and find their web site. Hope this helps, bye!
