| What is the best time in year to climb Kilimanjaro? My wife is insisting we take such tour, she is interested in some active vacation. I am not so sure about it, but since she insists I can only agree. So, what is it we need to know before we start our trip there? I could really use advice |

| Hi. As far as I know, September, January and February are considered to be the best months to climb Kili. I would advise you to go take the Marangu route, it is the best one for beginners. It lasts 5 or 6 days, depending on if you want to take a day to get acclimatized to weather conditions and height, or not. You will hike from 5 to 8 hours each day, depending on the road you have to pass that day. It is really a wonderful route, and you can stay either in hunts or in tents, depending on which one you prefer. Have fun there, I am sure you will enjoy |
