Trip to SE Asia and China in October wasnt the best plan, but my father insisted that we had to do it this year and in October. I was trying to tell him that October is the middle of the rain season, but he wouldnt listen. I just hope we will be staying in a 5 start hotel for the rest of our trip.

You have a point there, when you talk about rain season. Whit this frantic climate change it is not very smart to go on a trip where rain season is in progress. But as long as you dont have to travel up and down China and South East Asia you will be ok. Make sure you bring rain coats because you will need them more then anything else on your vacation. The rains are a very frequent occurance at that time of the year. I hope this is your vacation, because it means that you dont have to do anything and if the weather gets bad, you can just stay in and stay dry.
