Anyone been to Fort Lauderdale for honeymoon?

Hello, people. I have recently been married and I am the luckiest man in the world. My wife and I are thinking of a place for our honeymoon. She suggested Fort Lauderdale. We have never been there, so I would like to ask if anyone has been there for honeymoon. Would you recommend us that place? Thanks in advance.

Hello, good people and congratulations. I havent passed my honeymoon at Fort Lauderdale, it never occurred to me as a honeymoon place. But I was there on business occasion. I stayed in Elysium Resort. Unfortunately, it was just after the hurricane, so I didnt expect any extra service there. But, I didnt expect high prices either. The stuff wasnt very polite. There were repairs and handy men all over the place. My room wasnt clean either. So, you can say that my experience isnt too good. But, who knows. Maybe they have improved meanwhile. Wherever you go, I hope youll have a great time.
