Dear friends,

I am fulfilling my long held dream of visiting Sri Lanka this year. It is the country where my parents have been born, but regrettably I myself have never been to there. Now in August the time will finally arrive that I get the chance to visit. Is there anyone here by chance who is going to do the same?

Sri Lanka is a beautiful country unlike any other. It is very rich in cultural heritage and it will be very refreshing for you to be in a country where most people look like you. I have been twice now. The city of Batticoloa is the city where many of my relatives live. Where do you come from and is there anyone else with Sri Lankan origins here?
