| I have been thinking about ff status vs hotel status and what could be more advantageous for me, since I am traveling a lot and using my airline all the time. I have yet to determine what my company pays and what my fee is, but until then I am thinking that hotel status should be where my bonuses should go. I mean, flight lasts for couple of hours, but the hotels are where I will be staying for couple of days each time. |

| I guess that it all depends on what your company will decide. If they will pay for the hotel, then I guess it is quite logical to transfer your points to airline miles (this in case your hotel program allows that). As for the question regarding which status should be pumped up more, hotel of course. Free access to club lounge, complimentary meals and cocktails, all sorts of upgrades, elite check-in desks too, there are numerous things to look forward too with better hotel status. |
